A dynamic spaced professional learning course that delves into the ‘how’ of family engagement.
Through the use of lenses such as wellbeing, literacy, numeracy, involvement and inquiry, participants will explore strategies to embed family engagement into all aspects of their practice.
This course is a companion piece to the Active Partnerships in learning (Birth to Kindergarten) and schools are encouraged to consider sending a representatives to each course to build wider understanding of authentic family engagement strategies.
Participants will develop and deepen their understanding and skills in the areas of:
- Building strong partnerships with families
- Involvement and wellbeing as indicators of learning
- Inquiry and Loose Parts
- Family Engagement through Literacy and Numeracy
- Documentation and two way communication with families
