Program Description
Participants will gain an understanding of:
Blindness and Low Vision, an Introduction to Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI), Orientation and Mobility, Social Skills in the context of vision impairment and access to learning for students who are blind or have low vision.
Program Outcomes
The Participants will:
Gain practical understanding and strategies to adjust teaching and learning programs to suit the needs of students who are blind or have low vision, will learn about compensatory sensory pathways that support access to learning (auditory and tactile) and see the importance of assistive technology for access to learning.
