The ASbA Facilitators Network incorporates a blended learning approach. This includes a regional face to face workshop as well as membership into the ASbA Facilitators Network and Communities of Practice team’s channel. The program has been designed to build capacity, skills and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a school based ASbA Facilitator and create a network across the regions to share quality practice.
Participants will develop their capacity to facilitate Apprenticeships and Traineeships for School-aged Learners (ApTSLs) including School-based Apprenticeships (ASbA’s) by developing or reinforcing quality practice in the following areas:
-Sharing best practice
– Student management and monitoring
– Working with RTOs
– Training plans
– Progress reports
– Tracking TCE points
– Student enrolments and cancellations
– Supporting learning
– Exemptions
– Creation and maintenance of facilitator networks to support cross-school opportunities and transitions.
