The Cognitive Coaching Foundation Seminar® equips participants with a set of strategies, a way of thinking and a way of working that invites self and others to shape and reshape their thinking and problem-solving capabilities to achieve learning success.

The Cognitive CoachingSM methodology promotes a culture that values the development of thoughtful teaching and leadership practices. It is designed to produce self-directed persons with the dispositions for continuous life-long learning.

  • Expanded and refined skills and repertoire of coaching tools
  • Understanding of four capabilities for refining coaching skills
  • Understanding of the Reflecting Conversation Map
  • Increased automaticity with the essential coaching pattern of pausing, paraphrasing, pausing and posing questions
  • Increased consciousness and skills in asking mediative questions
  • Internalised Reflecting Conversation Map
  • Awareness of how to navigate support functions
  • Understanding of the role of data in mediating thinking
