AC – Digital Technologies Regional Workshops – Term 3

This is the first of two workshops designed for school leaders and teachers of Digital Technologies from Foundation – Year 10 to be held in Term 3 with the second workshop in Term 4. Workshops will take place in the South, North and North-West.

Participants will have the option to enrol in both workshops or select the one they can attend.

The workshops will provide an opportunity for school leaders and teachers of the Digital Technologies curriculum to work on unpacking the AC: Digital Technologies, assessment and moderation, scope and sequence documents, pedagogy, using the DoE inquiry cycle, using and analysing data, and sharing resources.

As a result of participating in the workshop, school leaders and teachers of Digital Technologies will:
• Increase their knowledge of the Digital Technologies Curriculum
• Improve their understanding of the moderation process in preparation for moderation in 2020
• Engage with quality resources to support improved student outcomes in their schools
• Develop and build leadership capacity within the Digital Technologies learning area
