Program Description

In 2023 Tasmanian Government schools will implement Version 9.0 of the Australian Curriculum.

This session will focus on how teachers might map and plan for the HASS curriculum at specific year levels and how school curriculum leaders might map the curriculum across all year levels. It will investigate the connections between the sub-strands within HASS as well as how the sub-strands and skills are connected to other learning areas for potential integrated and complementary inquiry.

This is the second in a series of four online sessions focussed on the revised HASS curriculum. It is suggested that attendees attend the other sessions.

  • Session 1: HASS F-6: Getting Ready for Version 9.0 (Thursday August 25)
  • Session 3: HASS F-2 Version 9.0: Digging Deeper (Term 4: Thursday October 27)
  • Session 4: HASS 3-6 Version 9.0: Digging Deeper (Term 4: Thursday November 10)
