This practical program explores all three elements of effective coaching practice: the GROWTH Framework; the key coaching skills; and a coaching way of being. It provides an introduction to the concept of a coaching approach and explores this in the context of feedback conversations. Participants will develop the skills and confidence to have coaching conversations and will be able to adopt a coaching stance in leadership.
This program is appropriate for educators and leaders who want to build the capacity of others through coaching and a coaching approach to leadership and developmental conversations.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
This program is composed of:
- Introduction to the proven GROWTH coaching
- Explore the GROWTH Framework
- Develop and understand goal setting
- Apply key coaching skills
- Explore and understand Emotional Intelligence
- Understand the Coaching Way of Being for coaching conversations
- Watch and listen to modelling of the GROWTH coaching framework in application to a range of workplace conversations
- Practise giving feedback and link to coaching and feedback conversations
- Develop next steps for taking coaching forward in your context
- Build or continue to build a coaching culture in your workplace
