Launching into Learning – The Planning Cycle in Practice

This professional learning will support those working in Launching into Learning programs (LiL) to plan, deliver, assess and evaluate Launching into Learning programs and experiences.

Participants will look at how various forms of data can inform and shape LiL programs and planning, ways to document learning and will unpack how the LiL Model for Engaging with Children and Families can work in practice in their unique context.

Participants will develop and deepen their understandings of:

  • using planning cycles (including critical reflection)
  • using data and school priorities to inform planning
  • how the EYLF and NQS can support the planning process
  • an adult’s role in play
  • LiL Model for engaging with children and families: universal, Invitational and Outreach opportunities
  • assessment and documentation in LiL
