Program Description

Learning all aspects of accessibility can take a long time. However, a few basic principles will make every document and web page you create more accessible.

During this presentation we will cover:

  • Why accessibility is so important and for whom
  • Relevant guidelines
  • Basic steps to ensure your content is accessible (with examples) – both for documents and web pages
  • A practical task to make a Word document accessible
  • A look at the features of the accessibility checker in MS Word
  • Your questions
