Program Description
New to numeracy coaching or leadership in Mathematics or an ‘old hand’? These regionally based workshops are an opportunity to engage with other school based numeracy coaches/ maths leaders to:
- Strengthen confidence to lead maths in your school
- Align curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, including building knowledge and understanding of the Big Ideas in Number.
- Develop an understanding of a structured inquiry model
- Network with other locally based maths leaders to share planning and resources
Program Outcomes
As a result of participating in this series of term based regional workshops, participants will have:
- Structures, processes and resources to use at their school
- Opportunities to establish local networks
- Strategies to support teachers to use a structured inquiry model in their classrooms
