Program Description

This awareness session provides learners with knowledge and practical information to enhance their understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace. Learners will be given a chance to explore the strengths and opportunities that neurodiverse employees bring to the workplace. The session then explores practical ways that organisations and individuals can support their neurodiverse workforce to create a sense of belonging and common purpose.

  • Describe what neurodiversity means.
  • Identify common experiences shared by neurodiverse people.
  • Recognise strengths and opportunities of having a neurodiverse workplace
  • Evaluate the impact on workplaces and individuals when neurodiverse employees are not supported.
  • Discuss and identify what you and the workplace can do to support neurodiverse employees.
