In early December 2022, Years 9–12 Learning will be delivering a program of professional learning to support schools:
- currently delivering Packages of Learning in 2022
- or intending to deliver Packages of Learning in 2023
Key content in this program includes:
- Structure and features of the Packages of Learning as they relate to Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum
- Information on the key aspects of teaching and learning for implementation
- Exploring content detail and resource requirements
- Moderating work samples in core curriculum areas
- Sharing of strategies
- Baseline resources: exploring the Canvas module
- How to develop a Skills Checklist
- Community of Practice – ongoing support
Participants will further develop knowledge, expertise and capabilities aligned with the Australian Professional Standards for teachers in Professional Engagement through:
- 6.2 Engage in professional learning and improve practice
- 6.3 Engage with colleagues and improve practice
- 7.4 Engage with professional teaching networks and broader communities

Cost
- Non-DoE registrations – Term 4 implementation sessions are $150.00 full day (including a light lunch). Schools / organisations will be invoiced at the close of registrations.

- Monday 5 December 2022 – combined Architecture and Construction package & Advanced Manufacturing package
- Tuesday 6 December 2022 – combined Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources package & Tourism and Hospitality package
- Wednesday 7 December 2022 – Health and Community Services package in Launceston
