back to Programs

This series of four online workshops centres on effective planning for the Humanities and Social Sciences in the secondary years of schooling. The program will address effective learning and assessment design focussed on the development of conceptual understanding, inquiry and skills. Participants will be encouraged to connect their learning to a specific current or future area of focus for their teaching through which to engage in the broader areas addressed in each workshop. Participants will be provided with additional opportunities for reflection and learning between each workshop. Microsoft Teams will be used for delivery of the workshops as well as for participant discussion and collaboration between each workshop.
