This program includes two 90 minute online sessions. The content continues from the 2019 learning with a focus on a leader’s communication skills and the conditions for important conversations; in particular these sessions align to the SBM statement of duties: ‘effectively managing, supervising and mentoring staff to achieve effective operational outcomes.’ The first session will focus on creating the conditions that support a positive workplace culture open to feedback and improvement conversations; and the second session will focus on specific and practical communication skills ( a leader’s toolkit) that support important and challenging conversations.

- Develop and enact a range of communication techniques to achieve effective outcomes from important conversations
