This one-day program focuses on the of the role of the School Business Manager (SBM) to create, support and maintain a positive and effective team.
Using Emotional Intelligence and Different Leadership Styles (Daniel Goleman’s work) the program will explore these theories in practical ways, utilising collaborative group strategies. This learning is aligned to the SBM statement of duties and selection criteria, particularly focussing on effectively managing, supervising and mentoring staff to achieve effective operational outcomes.
Included in the day’s learning are updates and key messages from Amanda Sartori and the Business Operations Advisors team along with further exploration of best practice implementation of the PDP processes provided by our Corporate and Business colleagues.
