Program Description
Transition is a big stage for students moving from primary into secondary education. As students adjust to their new school and classes their transition needs to be a positive experience, so that their wellbeing is maintained, and their learning is coherent and continuous.
A digital transition planning tool has been developed to support and enhance students transitioning from Year 6 into Year 7. Through the Digital Transition Plan, schools will:
- Have access to student transition information in a timely manner
- Inform the strengths of the student cohort, learning interests, intended destinations, career * interests, and school interests, for the following year
- Support every student in making a positive and informative transition that encompasses this process.
