This 2 day online professional learning experience is being offered as 2 options: Option 1: 3 and 4 December; Option 2: 7 and 8 December (teachers are asked to choose either Option1 or Option 2).  

Keynote speakers, curriculum leaders, vocational learning/VET specialists and members of the Years 9 -12 Project Team will share emerging trends in education, explore how to lead change at both a school and system level, communicate ideas for education in a shifting social, culture and economic landscape and skill students for a dynamic future.

I’m in a Catholic or independent school: Please complete the External – Enrolment – Form and email the form to PLI@Education.tas.gov.au.

Once you are enrolled, you will be sent an email to register for specific sessions the following business day.

This online professional learning experience explores the key themes for the Years 9 -12 Project specifically:

  • Why there is a need for change
  • How this change is being managed and implemented in Tasmania
  • What the implications for delivery are for students, teacher and school leaders

Standard 3 – Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning

Standard 6 – Engage in professional learning

Standard 7 – Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community

This 2 day program will be delivered Online.

The links and information regarding the sessions will be sent to participants prior to the program commencement.
