With a focus on improved mental health literacy and early intervention, Youth MHFA is being offered free of charge to all Principals and Wellbeing Team Leads. Participants will learn how to assist adolescents who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening mental health problem or are in a mental health crisis.
This course results in a certification from Mental Health First Aid Australia and is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.
YMHFA for Principals and Wellbeing Leads to gain YMHFA certification, involving e-learning and two facilitated online workshops (relief provided).
Completion of all course components by each participant is required for certification (participants cannot be substituted).
