Family Partnership Model Program

"The course expanded and strengthened the way I relate to students and to colleagues. I would encourage everyone to take the course as it will not only make us effective and empathetic educators, but better human beings."

Rose Anderson - Year 10 Coordinator, New Norfolk High School

 Program Description

  • The Family Partnership Model (FPM) is an innovative, evidence–based model of the helping process. The model demonstrates how specific helper qualities and skills, when used in partnership, enable parents, families and others to overcome their challenges, build strengths, resilience and enable their goals to be achieved effectively.
  • The FPM training explores all aspects of the model that support the building of genuine and respectful partnerships towards achieving improved outcomes for children and their families.
