1 Day Program Participants will learn about common traits and behaviours associated with gifted and highly able students. Many common myths and misunderstandings about gifted learners will be investigated. Best practice principles for school leaders to establish optimal conditions for gifted student to thrive will be discussed. Methods of identification and use of student data will be examined and how they related to the creation of effective learning plans.
The Hardie Fellowship provides opportunities for individual teachers or groups of teachers employed by the Department of Education to undertake professional learning and tertiary study in the USA.
1 Day Workshop A series of regional workshops for H&PE teachers will be offered in terms one and two 2021.
30 Minute Online Session Quality H&PE exists where the five inter-related propositions of the curriculum focus on educative purposes, take a strength-based approach, develop health literacy, value movement and include a critical inquiry approach to consistently guide curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.

4 Day Program Principals are invited to bring along a team (max. 3) including a classroom teacher, to explore inquiry as a pedagogy in a school context.
ICDP Online course has been developed to support teachers in their work with students, particularly those working with Year 7 – 12 students.
2 Day Program This professional learning will support those working in Launching into Learning programs to plan, deliver, assess and evaluate Launching into Learning programs and experiences.
2 Hour Online Session This online session will be an opportunity for staff working in Launching into Learning (LiL) to come together and use the LiL Reflective Tool to review their current programs.
