This series of AEDC drop-in sessions have been tailored to support Prep teachers, lead teachers and principals participating in the Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) for 2024. These online face-to-face sessions will provide teachers with an opportunity to ask clarifying questions about the AEDC process.

 

 

1. Develop an understanding of the AEDC data collection process

2. Raise awareness of the key dates of the AEDC data collection

3. Understand the different roles staff in your school will play in the AEDC data collection

Teachers

  • Standard 1 – Know students and how they learn
  • Standard 2 – Know content and how to teach it
  • Standard 7 – Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community
