Program Description

The program will be delivered over 2 afternoons with each session being 1.5 hours. Part A and B together are designed to build an understanding of the common mental health concerns often experienced by students and ways of supporting students with mental health concerns in the classroom. Participants are required to attend Part A before attending Part B.

 

Program Outcomes

Part A:

This presentation aims to help participants understand the increase in a range of common mental health concerns in children and adolescents (particularly post COVID) and why we think this is happening.

Part B:

This second part of the series focuses on depression and anxiety – what to look out for and how to manage this at school.

The program is in two parts (A and B) and is delivered Online – from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm

Participants must attend part A before attending part B. Series A&B are repeat sessions.
