Program Description
This half-day workshop is specifically designed to support school leaders and senior staff in leading respectful relationships and consent education (RRE).
All secondary school staff are welcome to attend, however priority will be given to school leaders. Schools are encouraged to send multiple staff.
Content addressed will include:
- The evidence-base that informs RRE.
- Practical strategies for strengthening and embedding a whole-of-school approach to RRE.
- Developing partnerships with parents and community to support and reinforce learning.
- Managing sensitive conversations in your school and addressing the necessary support mechanisms required for safe delivery school-wide.
Program Outcomes
Participants will:
- Enhance their understanding of best RRE practice, delivery and content.
- Explore supportive practices and processes required to support RRE in the local context.
- Develop practical strategies to support a whole-of-school approach to RRE.
- Design or revise a school RRE Implementation Plan.
