Program Description

Join us to explore how to develop culturally responsive learning sequences in Years 11 and 12.

Participants will deepen their understanding of their professional responsibility to teach First Nations Australian perspectives, in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers 1.4 and 2.4 and the Australian Curriculum.

Program Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Understand how to develop a culturally responsive mindset.
  • Be able to embed local First Nations perspectives in curriculum planning.
  • Know where to find culturally responsive teaching and learning resources.
