This online course will explore the importance of using intentional questioning to support learning. It will explain and unpack the new Adolescent Questioning resource and how it can be used to support all learners. This resource supports educators to ask questions that encourage students to use a range of reading strategies as they read.

This course is suitable for Teacher Assistants and Education Support Specialists who work with students in Upper Primary, High School and College.

Participants will develop an understanding of:

  • Why questioning is an important skill for educators and learners
  • The practical use of reading strategies when working with learners
