This online session will introduce the Reading Monitoring Tool (RMT) which has been designed to be used with all students from Prep to Year 10. The RMT was developed to support teachers of Australia Curriculum: English to monitor the ongoing reading progress of their students aligned to year level curriculum expectations.
This session will cover how the RMT was developed and how teachers can use the tool to support planning and assessment.
By engaging in this session participants will:
• know how the RMT was developed
• understand how to use the RMT for planning, assessment and communicating evidence of learning to families
• be able to access the tool on the Teaching and Learning Centre and Canvas.

This one-hour session will be delivered Online between 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
